Exchange workflow
The exact BAS configuration, customisations and available exchange protocol matter. Test units, warehouses and price types on a sample dataset.
Exchange products, stock, prices and orders. Define which system owns each field and how stock reservations are handled.

Define ID and field mapping, scheduling, error logs and retries. Check that temporary failures do not lose or duplicate records.
OpenCart version, extension name or API documentation, sample data and required operations. Licences, service subscriptions and custom work are itemised separately.
Agree products, SKUs, attributes, warehouse stock, prices and price types, orders, customers, statuses and reservations. Record identifiers and the owning system for each field. Available flows depend on the BAS configuration.
A typical proposed flow sends catalogue, prices and available stock from BAS and orders and buyer data from OpenCart. Define return statuses, reservations and multiple warehouses separately to prevent competing updates.
When both systems change a price, use the agreed authoritative source rather than whichever update happens to arrive last. Define backorder or purchase restrictions for zero stock. Reconcile post-transfer order edits by ID and state.
An unavailable BAS service or API error must not be reported as a successful exchange. Design logging, retries and alerts, then reconcile a control dataset after recovery to prevent duplicate orders.
The estimate depends on your OpenCart version, data quality, extensions and agreed outcome. Share a representative task so we can define scope, timing and cost before starting.
Agree participating warehouses, stock aggregation and reservation deductions. Test examples: physical stock is not always the quantity available to sell.
Send a URL, catalogue sample and required integrations. We will outline the work and refine the estimate.
