UkrClimat — Air Conditioning & Climate Equipment Store on OpenCart
Engineered an HVAC e-commerce platform on OpenCart with interactive BTU/area sizing calculators, installation package cross-selling, and automated distributor feeds.
Client and business
UkrClimat (ukrclimat.com.ua) is a major climate control retailer and engineering installation firm offering residential and commercial air conditioning, heat pumps, and ventilation systems from Cooper&Hunter, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, and Gree.
Starting point and brief
Air conditioner purchases depend heavily on room volume, insulation, and solar exposure. The client struggled with customers selecting underpowered units online and wanted an interactive digital consultant that guided users to the correct BTU class while bundling certified installation services during checkout.
OCStudio solution
OCStudio designed an interactive e-commerce shopping experience: developed a custom JavaScript room sizing calculator translating floor area, ceiling height, and window orientation into recommended BTU/kW capacities with one-click filtering, built checkout add-on modules for selecting certified installation dates, and synchronized distributor pricing and stock availability.
